Why can JPGs shrink so much?
Cameras and phones save JPGs at very high quality. Saving at quality 75–85 usually halves the size, and on a screen you won’t see the difference.
How to use it
- Drop your JPGs.
- Keep quality at 80, or set a file size.
- Download.
Questions
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. The converter runs inside your browser, so your files stay on your device. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and convert something.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Free pages show a small ad that pays for the site. Pro removes ads and lets you drop more files at once.
